She is a distinguished Child specialist and Pediatric Endocrinologist, having graduated from Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad, where she was recognized as the Best Graduate of her session. She completed her FCPS from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) and has since held various academic and administrative roles. With over 25 years of experience in both clinical practice and teaching in the field of pediatrics, she possesses the expertise to manage a wide range of neonatal and pediatric cases. Her professional journey includes serving as the Head of Pediatrics, Principal of Punjab Medical College, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Faisalabad Medical University, and Dean of Children’s Hospital, Faisalabad. Since 2008, she has also been actively practicing pediatric endocrinology. As a certified supervisor for Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology in FCPS and MD training, she has mentored over 100 trainees. Her contributions extend to research, with numerous national and international research papers to her credit. Additionally, she is the author of a book on diabetes and serves as the sub-editor and co-author of the book titled “Diabetes And Pregnancy: A Journey Into The Past, Present, and Future of Care.“
