The department of anesthesia & OT is one of the most elaborated and technical department. It provides the best care to the patients presenting for surgery through its strong and dedicated team of medical professionals. Anesthesia team comprises of consultants, anesthetists, medical officers and well trained paramedical staff. Since November, 2018 capacity of operation theater complex has been increased to ten operating rooms. Each of these is fully equipped with latest anesthesia machines with ventilator, cardiac monitors, operating tables. The services provided include pre and post-operative care, pain management, General anesthesia, Regional anesthesia (spinal and epidural), peripheral nerve blocks, labor epidural analgesia.

Post-operative recovery room is also equipped with cardiac monitors, suction apparatus. All international standards regarding patient safety & care, asepsis are followed.
